Smiling Mind Schools Program expansion & evaluation

In 2020 Smiling Mind transformed the School’s Program to an online offering in response to COVID restrictions. This digital transformation enabled our NSW program ($2.4m, co-funded by the NSW Department of Education) to both increase its geographical reach and decrease the cost per school.
This expanded the program by a further 45 NSW schools by the end of Term 1, 2021, reaching a total of: 140,687 children, 10,123 teachers and 445 schools.

The Smiling Mind Schools program will empower the next generation with the tools to strengthen their resilience and wellbeing. These social and emotional learning skills that are now more important than ever, given the challenges of 2020 and beyond.
We are pleased to report that we will also be delivering the program to 10 additional schools in VIC and QLD in 2021, on behalf of our supporters from these states.
