A conversation on mental health in hospitality
Josephine Sukkar AM, Chair of the Buildcorp Foundation recently sat down with five of Australia’s most loved and celebrated chefs to have an open conversation on mental health in the hospitality industry.
The Buildcorp Foundation remains committed to supporting some of the biggest issues impacting the construction industry; mental health and suicide prevention. We also acknowledge the synergies between the construction and hospitality industries. Both are fast-paced, high-pressure and high-risk environments. Safety in the kitchen and on a construction site plays an important part in the day-to-day logistics, and a clear and focused mind is key for all team members. This is why the alignment of the Foundation’s recent fundraising Chef Dinner was so important to the cause.
